See an ENT doctor: While it is possible the ear could simply be blocked with wax, an ENT doctor (otolaryngologist) will rule out other conditions that could also cause ear fullness and hearing loss. Should wax turn out to be the culprit, an ENT doctor would also be the most experienced and best equipped to clear the ear safely with the least amount of discomfort for the patient.
