had a really sharp pain left side of neck & index/middle finger same side at same time.. had sharp pain outside of same arm 2 days ago. what could be?

It COULD be...: (I’m not saying it IS, but it COULD be) a so-called “pinched nerve” in your neck. Do not attempt to get a neurologic & musculoskeletal exam over the Web. You need to see a real live doctor in a real office who will put his/her real live hands on you. Under NO circumstances go to a chiropractor. Chiropractors help only the “worried well.” They are no substitute for someone with actual KNOWLEDGE.
