Hi.my two year old has a fever that's 37 to 39 degrees on/off for 4 days. doc gave him purmycin and panado. what should i do ?

Follow doc recommend: Fever indicates that your child has some type of infection. Viruses may cause fevers that last 4 or more days and for most viruses, they have to run their course as there are few antiviral drugs. Your doctor prescribed an antibiotic (purmycin), for a presumed bacterial infection and the Panadol to manage the fever if it is over 38. See your doc if not improved in 2-3 days.
