Copper IUD's: have been shown to be safe in patients with various nerve disorders. Every once in a while the "toxicity" of Copper comes up in the so called "Health Magazines" etc etc...I would recommend CU based IUD's to patient's with Myasthenia HOWEVER if there is ANXIETY about their use.....there are a MULTITUDE of IUD's "out there" all just as effective and without Copper!!
Hope this is helpful!
