is it normal to have a flat blue nevus (looks like) on the scalp, near the back of the ear? recently discovered, ~7mm. seeing derm soon, but worried..

However it is wise to be vigilant over our health and see a Dr if anything seems abnormal. You're doing the right thing to see a Dr about this. If your nevus is uniform in color & symmetric, then it is more likely benign.
