my baby has a pimple looking dot on his back. its red and slightly inflamed. when i press it minimal puss comes out. when should i get him to a dr? no fever or any other symptoms. just scared for an abscess. he is 10months old

Topical anti infectv: If no fever, keep an eye on it. Baby will let you know if it bothers him. Do not squeeze it- can cause bruising and actullay introduce normal skin bacteria which can cause further discomfort. If more presents see your GP. Give something like bactroban ointment a go
