She advocates minimal use of medications working on the brain.
She wants change in diet & environment, meditation etc
She is a board certified psychiatrist who stopped writing psych. medications. She has a huge following all over the world. I do not know if you are doing well on these medications, what to say!

No reasonable person questions the value of medications in major mental illness. I join many of my colleagues in believing that they are overprescribed, but this may be the result of fear of liability. Dr. Jayaraj is of course correct in saying this question cannot be answered. For ordinary anxiety and depression, keys are managing situations, learning new skills, managing thinking, taking actions
