i am experiencing genital itching. the following also describes me: vaginal itching. what should i do? i have tried vagisil , anti-itch , fungus ointment..it gives a little relief. seems worse after work/ sweating. dampness seems to amplify problem

Vulvar itching: Your vulvar itching may be from something other than yeast. You may have vulvovaginal atrophy, common after menopause, which can be treated w/ topical estrogen. You may also have a different strain of yeast that needs a different medication, so I would recommend a yeast culture. You could have a skin condition such as lichen sclerosus. You should see an OBGYN. Don't use vagisil, terrible product.
