last week i visited a doctor at the netcare in century city. i had chest pains and a post nasal drip. i was put on a fox air 50/500 which has helped however my chest has become worse. the chest definitely now is infected?

Not necessary: It may not be a chest infection. Post nasal drip coughs take 4 - 6 weeks to get better irrespective of medical treatment. I usually treat with an antihistamine, corticosteroid nasal spray such as flomist, an antacid suggest as nexiam and a saline sinus rinse. These make the symptoms bearable ut it still takes a wile to get better.Signs of a chest infection- rapid breathing, fever.
