im having a weak sinking feeling around my chest/sternum and upper body weakness. had heart checked. normal . what could cause this. 45 yo female?

? Menopause: You may be eri-menopausal and may be depressed. You may wish to consult your gynecologist. It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated.

I do agree that exercise may help, but it seems unlikely menopause has anything to do with your symptoms. Please see a doctor. if you’re feeling sad and or anxious, you can talk to a psychotherapist
