SNRIs: Duloxetine is a SNRI. The only other SNRI on the market that is readily available is Venlafaxine. However, there are risks and benefits to Venlafaxine and it is not approved for some conditions such as neuropathic pain and fibromyalgia like Duloxetine has been by the FDA. It is best to consult with your physician and find out why they are prescribing this medications.
