Abnormal growth: Without inspection, it is hard to tell you how to treat it. A bump on the big toe can be from several things. Warts, ingrown toenails, cysts, infection, gouty tophi, foreign body, and arthritis, can cause a bump on the big toe. All these require different treatments. See a Podiatrist to evaluate. Most will give you alternate treatments-including home treatments if possible.
