Baby constant ear infections since birth . 1 now. allergy tests negative. she was on soy and the ear infections was better.on monte air sprinkles,cortizone pump and nose spray.tried lactogen low lactose ear infection back again. what do you suggest?

Depends: You did not provide the age or number. A general mantra is 5 in 1 yr or 1 that won't clear in 90 days deserves tubes. The primary reason kids remain infected is poor drainage of middle ear mucous through the natural Eustachian tubes. Head growth with age solves this in most but a few need tubes to break the cycle. The thick mucous is removed during tube placement.
