One way: Eat healthy foods that are high in calories. Eat six meals per day. Work on strength training to build your large muscle groups. Work out with heavier weights with fewer repetitions. Sleep at least 8 to 9 hours per night. Hydrate well with water. Snacking when you are trying to gain weight>. Nuts are high in calories, contain protein & are high in monosaturated fat (almonds). We all should aim.

for at least 5 servings of vegetables (sweet potatoes) & 4 servings of fruit (bananas) per day. Fruit makes a great snack & this is one time that dried fruits really make sense (prunes & figs). Many people eat more tuna when working to gain weight but you need to watch Mercury content. Try sunflower or flax seeds. These are some tips but a trainer or a nutritionist can give you more.
