can being on clomid give a false positive pregnancy? i was on clomid last month as i was not ovulating on my own and have pcos my period was due yesterday but nothing. took a home pregnancy test and it was positive could it be because i was on clomid

You may be pregnant!: Clomid on its own should not cause a false positive in your pregnancy test. It is much more likely that you have fallen pregnant. Suggest you got to a pharmacy or pathology lab to have your HCG level checked, to confirm pregnancy. Good luck!!!

You ovulated: Clomid (clomiphene) really does not have a residual effect, so if you had a second period it's likely a spontaneous ovulation.
