Treated vaginal yeast with metronidazole and fluconazole... vaginal yeast has cleared but intensified oral thrush. can other prescription handle this?

Mixed messages...: Metronidazole does not treat yeast. Assuming you were following a doctor's advice, she obviously thought you had something in addition to yeast, probably bacterial vaginosis or maybe trichomonas. Metronidazole can trigger oral yeast (thrush), but the fluconazole should have prevented that. Not all white stuff in the mouth is yeast. Return to your doctor to be rechecked. Good luck.
