Here are some....: Appendix is a 5-/10-cm blind-ended bowel, which could become infected if its outlet to cecum is blocked and appendicitis ensues. In a sense, if the outlet of hair follicle is plugged, follicle-related sebaceous gland becomes infected, and acne emerges. In short, plugging outlet leads to infection and inflammation to rupture.... I hope this is enough to explain how appendicitis develops. Best....
