Last week, i found out i have high cholesterol and am pregnant. two years ago my cholesterol was normal. could pregnancy cause the high cholesterol?

Cholesterol/pregnant: Cholesterol does not generally become elevated "because of" pregnancy, but may be reflective of an increased dietary intake of certain foods because of increased consumption during pregnancy. Watch your butter, red meat and high cholesterol foods.
