Urine culture: Talk to the doctor who prescribed the antibiotics and discuss the need for a urine examination and culture. Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex. Get HPV vaccine

UTI symptoms: Cloudy urine is not a reliable UTI symptom; entirely normal urine can be cloudy due to phosphate crystals. If other symptoms like urgency, frequency, and/or painful urination are clearing up, the treatment probably is working. Check with the doctor if any doubt.

In other ways.: The development of bladder cancer has little to do with the frequency of urination. It has everything to do with changes to the lining of the bladder, mostly due to exposure to toxins in the urine, such as from cigarette smoke & industrial chemicals. Inherited genetic factors play a role as well. For those that have developed bladder cancer, one of the symptoms can be frequent urination.

Antihistamine: A short course of antihistamines like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) will help. It is advisable to have your doctor classify the allergic reaction and document in your medical record the type of antibiotic which caused the reaction. Please, always follow directions listed on over the counter meds and better yet double check with a pharmacist.
