Pregnancy : Avoid seafood and shellfish in pregnancy due to increase mercury levels and risk of algae related illnesses .
In general pregnant women should eat freshly prepared foods . Leftover home cooked meals can be eaten within 24hrs provided refrigerated at temp <5 degrees Celsius. Avoid takeout.
In second half of pregnancy sleeping on back can compress vena cava and disrupt blood flow. Sleep on side.
