Im not sure if i have injured my left calf or not but after every trail run and after i do the step ups in gym. my left calf is always sore especially in the mornings where i struggle sometimes to walk. should i be concerned?

May be significant: If you try stretching before and after activity and apply ice after activity and the pain doesn’t improve, then you may have a significant problem that needs to be evaluated by a sports medicine specialist. In the differential diagnosis is calf Strain, calf tear, Achilles tendinitis, deep vein thrombosis. Either way, if the pain doesn’t respond to conservative measures as described above, then see a sports medicine specialist.
