i have been diagnosed with pre diabetes and am on glucophage and zuvamor .should i be going to a diabetic clinic or can my gp monitor me correctly?

GP can follow up.: Yes, you can be monitored at GP level. Routinely it is initially a 3 monthly follow-up of sugar levels (a test called HbA1c) with twice annual routine check-ups once your condition has stabilised in control. Incidentally, Glucophage is the correct first line drug for your condition.
