How long for fractured thigh bone to heal? new ortho surg.won't look at xray of frac thigh, only works on spine. sent 2 pt? what dr can treat both?

Bone surgeon(Orthope: The Orthopedist deals with all bone fractures. Spine can also be handled by a Neurosurgeon. But your problem with thigh bone is clearly in the domain/area of specialization of a Orthopedic doctor. Most bone sin the body heal in 8 weeks. This can be verified with an X-ray of the thigh bone(called Femur)

Fracture : Any general orthopedist looks after fractured femurs. It would normally take 6 to 8 weeks to heal. However you need to find another ortho who can look at the X-rays and give you a more accurate estimate of healing time. Good Luck
