Consistent swelling in calves, ankles, and fingers for the last month (even during cold weather). Related to bicuspid aortic valve or something else?

Dr. Ira Friedlander

Your symptoms are: unlikely to be related to the function of your aortic valve but infection could be a concern. In the presence of valvular heart disease it would be important to exclude more serious conditions. Go see your cardiologist for reevaluation and reassurance.
