I now have non small cell lung cancer as does my s.o. he also now has mrsa in his lungs and is in the hospital. do i need to be concerned about myself having it ?

In the absence of: an active infection in you there is not much you could do about it except maintain strict isolation precautions as is probably enforced in the hospital. Odds are you are already colonized and in equilibrium with the organism for now. Antibiotic therapy is not indicated for you in the absence of an active infection.
