A 20-year-old male asked:
If you have a yeast overgrowth in the mouth or thrush, can it get into the bloodstream if your gums bleed while brushing your teeth?

Not a problem : You get bacteria into your blood every time you brush your teeth hard, floss properly, or pass stool. Candida in a healthy person is even less dangerous. It gets into your blood from time to time without posing a danger.
