should i consult a dermatologist or an ent specialist to have a lichen like buccal rash investigated?

Dr. J. Lawrence Dohan
56 years experience Dermatology
Dermatologist: Do you have lichen planus or not? If you do, a dermatologist will recognize it, look for other aspects of it, and help you deal with it. A dermatologist will usually know by looking at it. An ENT is more likely to do a biopsy.
