My emotions are very unstable. the one moment i would be very happy the next im really sad and dont want to do anything or talk to anyone. im not suicidal but its constant up and down of emotions. could it be depression?

Depression.: Could certainly be a version of depression, yes. Seek counseling with a therapist/psychologist for help.
