Nausea when eating certain foods. feels like grease being poured into my stomach. no other symptoms. taking tums with very little relief. gerd or gastritis? also get discomfort between shoulder blade. gallbladder been ruled out.

GERD?: Sounds like GERD as a primary choice. Gastritis would be a good secondary option for diagnosis. Have you tried treatment? If you’ve failed treatment, endoscopy may be in order to properly diagnose.

Functional GB disord: HPI--, Nausea is your main symptom, without reflux, or heartburn,Tums does not work..Not certain what tests were done to r/o GBD. I am assuming Gallstones were r/o w/ US Abdomen. Do HIDA Scan and EGD. My provisional Dx will be Functional GB disorder. A clinical diagnosis of functional gallbladder disorder requires the fulfillment of symptom-based diagnostic criteria & R/o organic disorder.
