i have heard chemo has very bad side effects.my dad just had his first chemo with rituximab+chop.its been 2 days and hes not that bad.is that normal?

Yes: R-chop is a generally well tolerated chemotherapy regimen. Rituximab can lead to allergic-type reactions with the first dose. Hair loss will begin about 3 weeks after the first r-chop dose. Fatigue and low blood counts may occur as your dad goes through treatment.
