Dr. Nela Cordero
Pediatrics 54 years experience
AURI: If child is eating good, low grade fever and active, probably viral and will be ok in a few days. See md if in doubt.
Dr. Amrita Dosanjh
Pediatric Pulmonology 36 years experience
Suggestions: Most viral illnesses resolve by day 10. If there is a fever for more than 2-3 days, I would suggest seeing your physician. The head of the bed can be at an angle of 30 degrees and nasal saline will help decrease post nasal drip.
