Hammer Time.: There are multiple reasons why the second toe can take on a "C" shape. The deformity is known as a hammer toe. Typically a plantar fibroma does not cause this deformity, but who is to say that in your specific case it does. To remove all doubt, have your foot evaluated by a specialist that makes a living treating pedal problems such as this.
