16 month old son has been having diarrhoea for 4 days. smecta, electrolytes, bascopan and zopher prescribed by doctor so far. any other ideas. at least the vomiting has stopped.

Add following: Probiotic 3 times per day to be added, along with Novolac AD (formula milk), for short-term milk replacement which also contains active ingredients to help stop diarrhea. If still persists, please do a stool sample for culture at the laboratory

Stool culture: You would need to do a stool culture with fresh stool sample. Would also suggest to take him back to the doctor to make sure there is no other infection that can be the cause of the diarrhoea
