XRay: The only way of knowing for sure is by doing an Xray. Have it done.

ER/UC now: possible boxer's fracture: seen often in bar fights or when someone decides to punch out a wall ( the wall always wins! )
Possible Fracture: It is quite possible to fracture your hand that way. It is best to get it assessed by your GP, and you may need Xrays. At least that will give you and idea as to how long it will take to heal.
