Fertility: Patients with one remaining ovary can still be able to conceive if the reason for the lost ovary is due to cyst or torsion However if the loss was due to pid, abscess or ectopic pregnancy, it is possible to affect the other side too. After one year, get all basic evaluation with hsg done. It is reassuring to not that assisted reproductive technology is an option if all fail. See your gynecologist.

Also, it takes 2 fertile people to conceive. If having sex a lot, and still no pregnancy after 9 months have passed, a couple can start thinking about getting both people evaluated.
