i'm 55 & have for the first time got chilblains. this follows a deliberate weight reduction of 70 lbs. any ideas, please?

Keep areas warm.: Apparently this is a phenomenon lasting about 2 weeks and the most reliable thing that can be done is to keep the affected parts warm especially in cold weather. A vasodilator like Nifedipine and another drug, Diltiazem may also be used. This may mean that the affected individual has a connective tissue disease so it's a good idea to see your doctor for a full work-up.
