it only comes when i'm running and it's in my left side, should i just ice it and treat it like it's sore or go see a doctor ?

Pain: I am assuming the pain is in left leg when you run. It should be fine to treat with ice , using a brace and ibuprofen (unless you cannot tolerate it). If it does not get better then see a physician.
