Trauma: Headaches are not unusual even after trivial head injury. However if there are moderate or intense headaches which persist, they warrant an evaluation for brain injury or bleeding. Other worrisome symptoms are nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, visual disturbance or confusion. Being on anticoagulants, aspirin or medications like Aleve make one prone to bleeding.
