i am experiencing vagina itching. been told it's possible thrush. the skin between my vaginal opening and my vulva is red, and itchy but not constantly itchy. just come on my period, can i use tampons? no cheesy discharge.

Depends: If you do have candidiasis, commonly know as yeast infection, it may be uncomfortable to use tampons.
