Left pain in shoulder, arm, and sometimes chest. comes and goes. also have dry cough at times. been happening for two weeks. bad cold went through house 3 weeks ago but i only coughdoesn't wake me up at night. none smoker. could this lung cance?

Other causes: Other causes of your cough should be considered, if you have low risk for lung cancer. An occasional dry cough following a respiratory infection may indicate prolonged inflammation in the lung. The shoulder pain may be related to pleuritis or even a GI cause. Apply local heat and take Ibuprofen for pain. Monitor your temperature, rest, drink fluids. Follow up in 1-2 weeks.
