for how long the scratch is capable of transmitting hiv i mean how long it takes to not contract hiv from infected blood?

Depends on moisture: HIV is a fragile virus. It needs moisture and warmth to survive. If the scratch from an HIV + person is new and has flowing blood then it is infectious. Question is, how long before it is not infection? My view of this is that if the blood is in any way moist, then its infectious. If it is completely dry and been that way for a while, unlikely to be infectious.
