Yes: All vaccines have a known failure percentage with some more than others. Measles as part of the MMR was given as a single dose to many kids up until the mid 1990's when it became evident a 2nd dose was needed.Today we occasionally see local measles after exposure to imported (international travel) cases.Docs can verify your protective antibodies with a blood test.
