Yes but...: If however there is odor as well, it is likely bacterial and Monistat won't help. Trichomonas is a common std which causes itching, as well as genital wart and herpes. Older women often experience dryness and itching from lack of estrogen. See a doctor isn't a bad idea if any recent new partners, or if this has been going on for longer than a week.

Possible: It could also be bacterial vaginosis. Hopefully, you know to wipe front to back.
