if my blood test and culture came back positive for hsv1 on my genital area does that make it the same as having genital2 herpes? can hsv1 turn into hsv2? can i give a new partner herpes simplex 1 without having an outbreak present?

No. No. Yes.: Herpes 1 cannot turn into 2, nor vice versa. A person is not immune to herpes 1 unless he has caught herpes 1, and likewise, he is not immune to herpes 2 unless he has caught herpes 2. That means having herpes 1 does not protect you against herpes 2, and vice versa. That also means having herpes 1 on one part of the body should prevent you from getting new herpes 1 on a different part of the body.
