Depends: The first thing I check for this is an x-ray of the wrist/hand to evaluate bone maturity.(not hormones) There are dozens of growth centers located in the long bones of the hand that have been studied over the years & reveal growth potential. If the centers are closed growth is done.If open, there is some potential for more. You may have grown steadily instead of "a spurt".

Growrh spurt: By your age you would have had the growth spurt aleeady, 5'10" isn't short! What about your other signs of puberty? Should be developed by now. An X-ray of your left wrist would tell us your bone age and whether your bone growth plates are closed. How were you doing before as regards growth velocity? It may be your built, and you are fine, best wishes

If I had a body scan today, when can I restart taking my hormone medicine?

Depends on hormones : I think that would depend on the type of hormone you are talking about and the scan you had. If you didnt get instructions then check with your doctor first. Did you have a thyroid scan? Was it a bone scan or a density scan?

Check with the doc: Many blood pressure medications take longer than a week to have their full effect. Check with your doctor as you may need a higher dose or another medication. Hbp is damaging over the long term most of the time and not over a few days so check with your doctor.
