Trigger finger: is often a painful condition characterized by a popping or snapping sensation. One of the most common causes is a mismatch between the size of the tendon that moves the finger into a flexed position and the underlying ligament structure that holds the tendon in place. Rest/ice or heat/splinting/steroid injection or other procedures/surgery may be needed. Your Doctor or Hand specialist can help.
