is it ok to take a 25 mmg of atenolol a few hours after having a drink?

Dr. Ira Friedlander

Unlike several other: beta blockers, Atenolol has little or no metabolism by the liver. It is primarily metabolized in the kidney. Alcohol should not have any effect on it.
