i have a sinus infection. would this cause pressure if the back of my head?

Possible: Sinus infections can cause pain in the areas of the sinus, which could also lead to facial and scalp muscle spasm, causing pain in the back of the head. There are no sinuses in the back of the head. Rarely, a complication of a sinus infection could cause clotting of the blood in the brain, which could cause pain, but also other neurologic signs.
