Yes: Breastfeeding can prevent periods for quite a long time. The duration varies with the individual and to some degree how consistent and exclusive the breastfeeding is.The caution is that you can't predict when periods will resume and you become fertile before that happens, so you can get pregnant without getting periods again. Breastfeeding is good for spacing pregnancies but is not birth control.

Trying to conceive: You do not mention how long you have been trying. After 35 year of age if you have been trying to conceive for 4-6 months and have not succeded it is recommended that you seek professional help. Preseed is a sperm friendly lubricant that helps to relieve the vaginal dryness but does not aid in fertility. Gynecologists recommend this as the other lubricants are not sperm friendly.

More info: "chicken bumps" are more commonly seen on the arms and legs and do well with cod liver oil (orally). On the face...Depends on the age. If a newborn is one thing. Older children i would want to see the rash before offering suggestions. In general there is a great cream..Called schmoove. Can be ordered from maker. Check it out at www.Franzcenter.Com under herbaceuticals.
