A 27-year-old female asked:

are gastroparesis and endometriosis related? why are these 2 often diagnosed together? what lifestyle/dietary changes can be made to cope with them?

Usually unrelated: Gastroparesis and endometriosis are usually unrelated (and not frequently diagnosed together...) unless endometriotic nodules and lesions would have spread to and implanted into the stomach wall and gastric lining to interfere with the functions of the stomach. It is not likely that "dietary changes can be made to cope with both of them".

Skip harsh chemicals: Your skin may be more sensitive in pregnancy. Skip harsh chemicals that may be over-drying. Also try to avoid products that contain retinol or large amounts of salacylic acid as there are some associations with problems with baby. I love the belli line of skincare. It is very gentle using natural ingredients and was created for pregnant women.

How does a man's sex life change with aging?

Lowered function: While sexual potential can carry through into quite older age, the erectile capacity and ejacualate volume decrease with age. Some lose desire which is entirely psychological. Note the many products on the market for this and the destruction of endangered animals for this (rhino horns, bear gall bladder stones, etc.).

RE ASAP: See a reproductive endocrinologist as soon as you can: all else notwithstanding, if you are 42 years old you don't have time to waste. See a specialist; you may not need aggressive treatment but you can't afford the luxury of trial and error that younger women often have. Best of luck!
